I’m funding the first three books in my new YA romance series, Eastbrooke Academy, complete with gorgeous covers to be revealed over the course of the campaign and hand-curated exclusive swag made especially for this launch.
Some of you may already know me from my That Boy and Keatyn Chronicles series, but for those who don’t, my signature series include strong female characters, developing friendships that last, cute boys to swoon over, lessons about life and love, and heart-thumping cliffhanger endings. My series are fast-paced, easy to read, told in first-person present tense, and are suitable for ages 15 and up.
More than ten years ago, I dreamed up a boarding school called Eastbrooke Academy—the kind of preppy school where the rich and famous send their children— and wrote a bestselling book series (The Keatyn Chronicles) set there. But even before that origin series was finished, I knew I didn’t want my time there to end and, based on how many messages I get begging for more, my readers weren't ready either. In the years since, I've been jotting down plot ideas, character profiles, school schedules, and drama-filled scenes featuring the next generation at Eastbrooke. It's set in the present day with an all-new cast of characters, and I can't wait for you to fall in love with the next generation!

And let's talk about the covers! What you see in the graphics below are mockups, offering only a hint of what they will be. Many of you may already be familiar with the ultra-talented Emily Cromwell of Emily Cromwell Designs. I have been a fangirl from the moment I laid eyes on her adorable bookmarks and stationary. Last year, I reached out and asked if she'd like to collaborate. And, as this Kickstarter began taking shape, I knew I wanted her to design these very special covers.
So not only will you be among the first to read my new series—but you will also be getting Emily's first-ever book covers, making these truly valuable collectibles. Even better? If you pledge at tiers with swag packs, the included items will all feature Emily Cromwell designs!

What About The Covers?
You might have noticed that I haven't revealed the actual book covers, titles, or blurbs because I thought it might be fun to surprise you—to give you a chance to pick up the series without spoilers or preconceived notions. To have the opportunity to let this new series unfold without expectations. If you like surprises, you'll be happy.
If you're the kind of reader who wants me to totally spill the tea and wants all the sneak peeks and teasers you can get, I understand. Since I want to keep both types of readers happy during the campaign, I'll be sharing weekly updates over on my YouTube channel, where I'll reveal the title of the first book, share the cover art for the first book, and even read you the first scene from the book. (And it's a romantic kissing scene!) I'll post links here so you can decide whether you want to be surprised—or if you can’t stand it and need more now!
Timing
I expect to deliver the first book in the series along with the first swag pack in April 2023. The second book and swag pack will come to you in July/August 2023. And the third in October/November 2023.
Rewards
Rewards for backing this campaign include special edition books and hand-curated swag for my new young adult boarding school series, Eastbrooke Academy. Please note that these graphics do not show the actual covers. They are mockups that give you just a hint of what's to come.
Each of the first three books in the series will be offered in five formats, depending on the tier you choose to pledge: a digital ebook, a digital audiobook narrated by the wonderful Maren McGuire, an unsigned paperback, a signed case laminate hardcover, and a special limited edition, signed & numbered premium hardcover.
The limited edition hardcovers will be quite special. Not only will they be hand-signed and numbered by me, but they will also feature custom color end pages, ribbon bookmarks, and full-color dust jackets.
These collector edition covers and swag packs will only be offered through this Kickstarter campaign and will not be available at major retailers.
