Movie Review: American Pie Reunion

It’s movie review day here at Glitter, Bliss, and Perfect Chaos. Today we’re seeing the movie, American Pie Reunion. I’m super excited because I’m not seeing the movie by myself!! Hubby is joining me for this one!

Here’s the trailer:

The Verdict: This movie was AWESOME!!!! It was everything I expected from an American Pie movie and more. The perfect way to end the series. I don’t want to give away the ending, but it was seriously perfect!! Even hubby gave it two thumbs up.

So I went to my class reunion. It’d been a few years. We’d gotten together for a few weddings, but it’d been awhile since I’d seen him. Him. My high school boyfriend. I thought we were so different back then, but we got together anyway and fell in love. We even managed to stay together for a while during college. But then we had to go our different ways. When I got back in town, I saw him. He looked so good and my heart seriously was fluttering in my chest.

Until I saw his perfect girlfriend. Then my heart felt like it died again. I know. I know. I was there with my boyfriend. The perfect man for me on paper. The man who is kinda a jerk sometimes. So we were at a party and he told me he missed me, even kissed me. And at the reunion, we danced. Danced like we did on prom night. The night I first fell in love with him. And my high school reunion became an even better reunion than I expected. We laughed and kissed and I want to be with him forever. This movie is a Happily Ever After.

Just a reminder of how we rank movies here at Glitter, Bliss, and Perfect Chaos:

One Star = Walk of shame. I was in last night’s dress, carrying my shoes as I rushed off. I can’t believe I wasted my time on him and pray no one I know sees me.

Two Stars = Bad date. He didn’t really do anything wrong, we just didn’t have any chemistry. Maybe he just wasn’t my type. I probably won’t answer if he calls.

Three Stars =Hookup. We had a great night together. Don’t know if it will be more than that, but it was sure fun while it lasted.

Four Stars = Stalking him. What a night! We danced, we kissed. Now if I could just get him to call me.

Five Stars = Happily ever after. I love him! I want to marry him, have his babies, and live happily ever after.
