All That Glitters: Smoothies

Hey everyone! So this week my post is on smoothies. There are so many options when it comes to smoothies and what you put in them. These are my favorite recipes. I’m not exact on the measurements but usually I start with liquids and fill up 1/4 to 1/2 my cup then add in the extras (fruits, flax, nuts) till my cup is full, and then blend!

Smoothie in a bowl:

1/2 banana

3-5 frozen strawberries

4 frozen blackberries

1/2 cup almond milk

scoop of seeds/flax

scoop of peanut butter

I top mine with granola:)

Chocolate and Strawberry Smoothie:

ice

1/2 cup almond milk

6 oz yogurt

tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

sweetener

5 strawberries

Cashew Coffee Smoothie:

 ice

1/4 cup almond milk

1/4-1/2  cup cold coffee

1/2 banana

1/2 cup cashews

sweetener if needed

Blueberry Flax Smoothie:

ice

almond milk

yogurt

1/2 banana

handful of blueberries

flaxseeds

almonds

sweetener if needed
